1. Start Here

Learn what's on the test and what scores schools saw.

Test at a glance: four computer-based, multiple-choice sections, scored 200 to 400 with no passing score. Schools look at your Academic Average (AA) and Total Science (TS).

2. Prep

Pick a plan and a study method.

No company pays to be listed or ranked here. Which OAT Prep compares Chad's Prep, Kaplan, OAT Bootcamp, OAT Booster, Princeton Review tutoring and the official ADA practice test on the same criteria.

3. Test Day

Know the rules before you register.

Format: four sections (Natural Sciences, Reading Comprehension, Physics, Quantitative Reasoning), about 5 hours with breaks, at a Prometric test center. Fee: $520 for the testing year ending June 30, 2026, with score reports to your chosen schools included. The ADA updates the fee each July, so confirm it when you register.

4. After the Score

See where you stand and decide what's next.
